“Loving the POP3! This was a 5 minute scan for a differential swap in a rally car. No careful preparation, no cleaning, just a bit of scanning spray, done in feature mode on android phone. Raw pointcloud processed, cleaned and decimated in geomagic. Perfectly fine for designing diff mounts”

“With trackit, it will be possible to just skip the surface preparation and marker application stage for the most part. Not having to look for too shiny or too dark spots to spray them white, not having to spend up to an hour, strategically applying markers for navigating featureless areas and keep the scan data straight and true along large spans. If scanning speed gets right, using the trackit could potentially save hours of scantime on the field and also leave singificantly less mess behind to clean up. Removing markers from the surfaces can also take hours but with the trackit, theres barely any markers needed.”
