FRANKFURT, November 22, 2025 As Formnext 2025 concludes, we're taking a moment to process four intense days of demonstrations, discussions, and genuine community interaction.
More Than Numbers
Yes, we distributed 600+ drawing tickets. Yes, nine Tech Spotlight sessions ran smoothly. Yes, hundreds of people cycled through product demonstrations. But honestly? The spreadsheet metrics don't capture what mattered.

What mattered was the manufacturing engineer who'd been manually measuring complex parts for fifteen years, quietly testing MetroY Pro and saying, "This changes everything." The design student who didn't need help—just wanted to show us their INSPIRE 2 project because we'd understand. Tom's Basement using MetroY Pro for automotive part restoration. Zoltan pushing human body scanning boundaries. Quicksurface bridging scan data to CAD environments. Elegoo and Snapmaker integrating scanning into complete manufacturing workflows.
The Ecosystem Reality
We designed the Tech Spotlight series thinking people wanted technical deep-dives. The most meaningful pattern? People don't want isolated tools anymore. Every conversation eventually circled back to workflow integration—how scanning fits into existing CAD environments, team collaboration, data management across project stages. We're clearly past the era of "cool gadget" and deep into "does this solve my actual problem?"

Metrohub's debut marked a significant milestone in this evolution. Watching engineers, designers, and manufacturers interact with our collaborative robot tracking system, we saw the reaction we'd hoped for: not "that's impressive technology," but "we could actually use this." The ability to drag-teach complex scan paths, run CAD-to-path automation, or let vision-guided systems handle batch scanning—this isn't just incremental improvement. It's democratizing capabilities that were previously locked behind six-figure industrial systems and specialist operators.

Thank You
To the speakers who shared real workflows—you made the Tech Spotlight series credible.
To everyone who stopped by with critical feedback and polite praise—you're improving the next generation of products.
To our team who handled nine sessions, hundreds of demos, and four exhausting days without breaking stride— Revopoint wouldn't have happened without you.
To the community following online and sharing projects—you've kept the conversation global.

See You Next Year
Four days in Frankfurt reminded us that building technology isn't about hitting roadmap milestones or winning feature comparison charts. It's about solving real problems for real people doing real work.
The critical perspectives, the edge case challenges, the "have you thought about..." questions—this is what drives actual improvement. The feedback we gathered is already reshaping development priorities. Some workflow integration gaps we didn't realize existed are now documented. Some use cases we hadn't considered are now on the roadmap.
Thanks for an unforgettable Formnext 2025.
More discoveries continue on our social channels.
