Scan for Measurement

“Measurements were taken in Solidworks by zooming in on the mesh and finding the median edge to plot against. ALL scans should always confirm with confirmatory physical measurements. Therefore 0.1mm is generally the standard for high-end accuracy, 0.2mm is acceptable, and anything lower is problematic.”

Parts with bolt holes

“I bought this scanner to, hopefully, be able to do some reverse engineering. I think this particular scan shows that it might actually work. Cast aluminium, roughly 140mm diameter.”
